Matteo Musumeci: Six concerts between Poland and Germany and the debut at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
A busy summer with important international events for the composer Matteo Musumeci, among the most popular symphonic composers in the international music scene.
Saturday, June 14th the first appointment will be in Poland, where His “Symphonic Suite for Orchestra” from ‘Opera Aitna will be performed on the symphonic concert of the Festival of Italian Art, Culture and Music on the city of Zamosc.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the historic Polish city, the Festival celebrates and promotes the art and Italian music, and this year the artistic direction has chosen Matteo Musumeci, already known and loved from the Polish public for its Opera in two acts Aitna, that talks about the myths and places of Mount Etna and which made his debut in Poland on 2006 at the Opera Festival in Katowice
The Symphonic Suite from Aitna, (premiere was in 2012 on symphonic season of the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana), will be the overture to the concert, conducted by Maestro Tadeusz Wicherek.
It will then be performed in concert on June 26 and 27 from the prestigious “Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmony” always in Poland at the theater Ciechocinek Bydgoszcz;
The tour will continue in Germany on 20 July 10 and August 31 with the Warsaw Symphony Orchestra will perform in concert Symphonic Suite.
Another important debut, will be in Italy, in fact Matteo Musumeci, with an unpublished composition, commissioned by the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. The Premiere will be on July 11 for the prestigious Festival “The Spirit of Music ” in Venice at the Teatro La Fenice.
