ISABEL DE PAOLI – MEZZO SOPRANO
She is considered one of the most interesting Italian young and promising
mezzo-soprano of nowadays .
On 2015 she will be conducted by Maestro Riccardo Muti in Verdi’s Opera Falstaff role Mrs Quicky in Ravenna Festival and Oviedo.
She was born on 1984 , she started studying singing when she was very young with Maestro Gabriella Rossi Van Ellinkhuizen . She graduated in singing and she has a degree of level II at the Institute of Musical Studies of F.Vittadini Pavia. She attended masterclasses in vocal technique with Claudio Desideri , Bernadette Manca di Nyssa, Rockwell Blake and Luciana Serra. She performed many important concerts and opera in Italy and abroad in Auditorium, Halls and Theatres (as Theatre ” Comunale Cagli “, ” Persius Flaccus ” of Volterra, Michael Paker Brunico , Bressanone Forum , ” Cilea ” of Reggio Calabria, ” Fraschini ” Pavia , ” Carani ” Sassuolo , ” Alfieri ” in Asti , Diego Fabbri Forlì , Siri Fort of New Delhi Municipal Piacenza , Comunale of Ferrara etc) . In 2008 he made her debut in the role of Maddalena in Rigoletto at the Teatro Municipale of Cagli , and in the role of ” Mamma Lucia” and “Lola” in Cavalleria Rusticana , also Flora in La Traviata and the role of Meg in Falstaff and the Badessa in Sister Angelica . In 2009 she took part in opera festival ” Mario Filippeschi ” of Pisa in the role of Azucena ( in the form of concert) , she made her debut in the role of Preziosilla in Verdi’s Opera ” La forza del destino ” with the Laboratorio Lirico Europeo; After this she made her debut of the modern opera ” Leyla ” by Dante Morlino ( in concert form ) , and Maddalena in Rigoletto at the Teatro Alfieri of Asti with the Artistic direction of Maestro Claudio Desideri , she performed this role also in the opera season of the Teatro Diego Fabbri of Forlì . She collaborated with the soprano Denia Mazzola Gavazzeni performing above all the sacred repertoire unpublished , including: ” Paraphrase of the Christus ” by Donizetti and ” Lamentation III ” by Carlo Lenzi . She performed with famous artists : the baritone Leo Nucci, the Soprano Annarita Taliento , Ambrogio Maestri , Daniela Dessi , Maestro Leone Magiera and Francesca Patanè at Siri Fort in New Delhi ( India). In the same year started the Italian tournèe of Carmen in a concert form that it will conclude in July 2010 at the Festival of Filippeschi of Pisa. Among her latest performances: Mozart’s Requiem at St. Charles Church in Arona, in this occasione she has been engaged by Luciana Serra ; Cavalleria Rusticana ( Lola ) in New Delhi with Francesca Patanè, the debut in Rossini’s Opera Italiana in Algeri (role Zulma ) and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in Brescia Opera Theatre.
In 2012 she started to collaborate with the Ravenna Festival , where she performed the role of Giovanna in Rigoletto , Ines in Il Trovatore and Flora in La Traviata , stage director Cristina Muti Mazzavillani, in the Ravenna, Ferrara and Piacenza opera theaters, and in Manama city on the occasion of the opening of the National Theatre of Bahrain. In July 2013, participates as a mezzo-soprano soloist in the concert ” Night of enchantment echoes of Verdi” from the house of Roncole Verdi , Ravenna Festival production broadcasted on RAI 1. On November 2013 she debuted the role of Quickly in Falstaff on Ravenna Festival, stage director Cristina Muti Mazzavillani with repeat performances in the Lucca , Ferrara , Piacenza and Savona and in Reggio Emila Opera Theater. On 2014 she performed the Beethoven’s Nona Symphony with Sicilian Symphony Orchestra and Mozart’s Requiem at the Teatro Politeama in Palermo and for the Sacred Music Festival at the Monreale Cathedral.
Last May she made her debut at The Rome Opera House in the role of Marcellina in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.
